The airline launched its first direct international service from Bengaluru to Abu Dhabi on Tuesday and will operate four times a week. Air India Express Launches Int’l Flights Between Bengaluru & Abu Dhabi
On Tuesday, Air India Express launched its maiden international service between Bengaluru and Abu Dhabi. The airlines will operate direct international service between the two cities four times a week. As per a Hindustan Times report, this new route will help Air India Express broaden its international reach.
As per the airline, by introducing direct international flights between Bengaluru and Abu Dhabi, they have also expanded connectivity of other Indian states with UAE’s capital. While talking to Hindustan Times, a spokesperson of the airline said that various Indian cities can now connect to Abu Dhabi through one-stop itineraries via Bengaluru.
It is to be noted that Air India Express connects Benagluru’s Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru to Indian cities like Ayodhya, Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Pune, Ranchi, Surat, Varanasi, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam. This means people in these cities can now connect to Abu Dhabi by simply planning a one-stop itinerary via Bengaluru.

Flight Schedule For This New Route
The Air India Express Bengaluru-Abu Dhabi flights will operate four times a week. As per the Hindustan Times report, these flights are scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The flight will depart from Bengaluru at 3:25 PM and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 6:00 PM. The return flights will depart Abu Dhabi at 6:55 PM and arrive in Bengaluru at 12:40 AM on the same day.
Besides Bengaluru, the airline operates direct flights connecting Abu Dhabi to cities like Kannur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mangaluru, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tiruchirappalli.
