Air India Increases Direct Delhi To Vancouver Flights From Three Times A Week To Daily

Tata-owned Air India has announced the increase in flights between Delhi and Vancouver, Canada, from 3x weekly to daily service with effect from August 31. An official release stated that this increase in frequency on the Delhi-Vancouver route caters to growing traffic between India and Canada, and has been enabled by the return to service of the wide-body Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft with a three-class configuration of first, business, and economy. The Increased Frequency Between Delhi and Vancouver Is A Sign Of Strong Customer Demand

Mr. Campbell Wilson, MD, and CEO, of Air India, recently revealed that the increase in their frequency between Delhi and Vancouver is very welcome for many reasons. It is another sign of recovery from the pandemic and caters to strong customer demand. More importantly, it marks the first step in restoring Air India’s fleet and international network.
“We are pleased to mark this significant milestone, and the team at Air India is hard at work to enable more expansion in the near future,” he added.

More About The Daily Delhi – Vancouver Flights And Schedule

Air India passengers traveling to Vancouver will be onboard one of the airline’s Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. With 4 first class, 35 business, and 303 economy seats, the flight has a total of 342 seats.

The Schedule:

Flight AI 185 – Departs New Delhi at 05:15hrs, arrives in Vancouver at 07:15hrs.

Flight AI 186 – Departs Vancouver at 10:15hrs, arrives in New Delhi at 13:15hrs+1.

Air India To Get Its Grounded Fleet Back In The Air

Currently, the Tata-owned airline has 43 wide-body aircraft, of which 33 are optional. And as per the official release, the remaining aircraft will be added by 2023. “The progressive restoration of these aircraft has already allowed the airline to increase schedule resilience and will allow further frequency and network increases over the coming months,” revealed Air India. Looks like, with the return of its widebody fleet to service, the airline plans to expand its long-haul offerings, including the India-US flights.
