Air India Provides Smooth Check-In Facility At Delhi Metro Stations
The airline has joined hands with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Delhi International Airport (DIAL) to start the “Delhi Airport Check-in & Baggage Drop” facility. With this one-of-a-kind facility, travellers can smoothly check in their bags and luggage at New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium metro stations in Delhi. People flying with Air India can swiftly drop their bags at these metro stations and travel without the burden of carrying heavy luggage.
This all-new service allows domestic passengers to visit different places in Delhi by keeping their bags safely at the 2 metro stations mentioned above. While tourists roam around the city and enjoy beautiful experiences, the concerned staff load all the baggage onto the particular flights. According to the airline’s Media Release, an advanced automated infrastructure created by DIAL and DMRC helps in the loading process.
The Delhi Airport Check-in & Baggage Drop facility allows domestic travellers to check in bags and explore Delhi. The service is now available for Air India international passengers as well. With the implementation of this facility, even overseas visitors can check in their luggage easily. Their bags will be loaded on the specified flights.
