Air India Launches City-Side Check-In & Baggage Drop Services At Hyderabad’s RGIA; Allows Baggage Drop 6 Hours Before Flight

To make travel smoother and seamless for passengers, Air India has launched a city-side check-in and baggage drop facility at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Hyderabad. Air India Launches City-Side Check-In Services At RGIA, Hyderabad

In a bid to elevate the travel experience of passengers, Air India has introduced a city-side check-in facility at RGIA, Hyderabad. This facility will offer convenience to the passengers and allow them to check in and drop off their bags at a location closer to parking and the bus station. This service is available for travellers flying with Air India, Vistara, and Air India Express.

The flyers will be able to check in and drop off their luggage as early as six hours and up to 90 minutes before their scheduled departure with this new city-side check-in facility. Besides helping passengers avoid carrying their baggage to the departure level, this service will also reduce congestion at the Hyderabad airport.

Currently, to ensure the smooth and efficient working of this new system, the service is available for domestic flights only. Also, it can only accommodate regular-sized baggage for now. The passengers will have to use the check-in counters inside the terminal for bigger and excess baggage.
