Chaos Erupts At Delhi Airport After Air India Flight Gets Delayed By 7 Hours
An Air India flight to Mumbai was scheduled to depart from the Delhi Airport at 11 PM recently. However, the flight finally took off at 6:30 AM the next morning. A now-viral video, shared by digital creator Garima Raonta, claims that the airline gave “no explanation, no real updates, and definitely no accountability” during the entire ordeal.
This left the passengers frustrated and angry. According to the post, “There were kids crying, elderly passengers exhausted, and people who absolutely needed to be in Mumbai for critical work. What we got in return? A half-hearted apology and a juice box. Yes, a juice box. That’s what our time, stress, and health were worth to them.”
Tensions further escalated at the airport when a passenger, reportedly, physically confronted the airline staff. The video captured a visibly frustrated passenger hitting the airline staff member. The passenger, who assaulted the staff member, can be heard saying, “My father’s health is not good. Please understand our problems. Understand everyone’s problem.”
Elaborating further, Garima mentioned in the comments that Air India began the boarding process but halted it midway. Reportedly, after half the passengers had boarded, the airline announced a further delay. This left the remaining passengers confused. According to the post, the primary reason for the delay was the absence of a pilot for the flight.
