X User Shares Disastrous Experience With Air India

Pratik Rai, @praaatiiik, was flying with Air India to Bengaluru with his friend. While they were at the baggage conveyor belt, his friend’s luggage arrived. After waiting for a while, he realised that his baggage was missing, so he went and reported it at the counter. As per Air India’s baggage tracking system, his bag was in Bengaluru. He reported the same to the authorities and they told him that they were trying to find the luggage.

Since it was already midnight, he registered his complaint and was assured the baggage would be delivered within 24 hours. Fast forward to two days and he got no update from the airline. In the X (formerly Twitter) post, he shared, “I called multiple times to go to unanswered numbers. And now, I’m being updated that the bag was never loaded and it’s in the Delhi Lost&Found department. Like, how can you make such tech and mess it up.”

Pratik mentioned that his bag had a lot of valuables and he is sure he won’t be compensated anywhere close to it! He also found some interesting data online that listed airlines from all over the world that have the highest “Probability of losing/delaying your luggage”. And guess where Air India was placed on the list? In second place!
