Air India Unveils First Look Of Planes With New Logo; Images Inside

Air India

Ever since its launch, Air India, the country’s flagship carrier has played a crucial role in providing domestic and international air travel services. Tata-backed Air India underwent rebranding on August. Now, Air India has revealed the new look of its jets.

The Airline’s Flights With New Logo

The most recent A350 photos were taken at a workshop in Toulouse, France. According to the airline on X (previously, Twitter), the freshly painted planes will arrive in India this winter. The new logo should be visible in all Air India flights by 2025.

Earlier this year, the airline revamped itself with a new red-aubergine-gold style and a new logo, ‘The Vista’.  Air India had previously stated that their new logo, The Vista, was inspired by the top of the gold window frame. According to top authorities, the airline intends to fundamentally restructure itself while maintaining a sense of tradition. The new livery and design incorporate a deep crimson, aubergine, and gold colour scheme, as well as a chakra-inspired pattern.

According to an article by NDTV, a massive $400 million is being spent to revamp the company’s entire fleet in order to incorporate the new design.

Rebranding Of Air India

Moreover, Air India had opened a mammoth warehouse in Delhi to store over 1,000,000 engineering supplies for aircraft maintenance, according to an article by Mint. The centralised warehousing facility, spread across 54,000 sq ft. It is located near Terminal 3 at Delhi Airport’s cargo complex. This will improve the turnaround time of planes operating out of Delhi.

The facility will serve as a one-stop shop for the storage of aircraft parts and tools. It will hold ground support equipment ranging from hardware to sophisticated and complex avionics, hydraulics, mechanical components and more.

The airline had prepared for a change in its livery colours and emblem back in August. The airline’s logos tell a story of a nation’s journey through time, reflecting its growth, aspirations, and adaptability. Currently, the new brand reflects an ambition to make Air India a world-class airline serving guests from around the globe, and a new India.

Not only is the airline changing its style and logo, but it is also preparing to launch a new website, an app, and much more.
