How did they remove the stepladder without (aircraft) door close? Isn’t that basic SOP!
This is the worst nightmare for any ground staff/crew.— FatBoySlim❤️✈️🇮🇳 (@sandeeprrao1991) May 15, 2024
@sandeeprrao1991 asked how they could remove the stepladder without the aircraft door being closed. The user called it basic SOP. To this, the aviation consultant agreed and said he googled the handling company behind this crazy lapse.
It a standard procedure to use door safety strap whenever step ladders are being moved.
This safety strap is a part of door frame in Airbus 320 given specially for this purpose.
Really a serious lapse by the team.#Aviation pic.twitter.com/HnmSqaDhBk— Aviator Nari 🇮🇳 ✈️ (@PoorvaForSky) May 15, 2024
Prima facie airlines staffer seems to be at fault because he was not alert & failed to notice that the ladder has moved away from the aircraft
