Due to the upcoming Aero India Show 2025, the airport authorities have revised the schedule of flight disruptions and here’s all you need to know about it.
Bengaluru Airport Revises Airspace Closure Timings
To accommodate the Aero India Show 2025, the Bengaluru Airport has announced revised airspace closure timings from February 5 to 14. According to the Hindustan Times, the airport authorities have asked passengers to stay updated on flight schedules by checking with their respective airlines.
The revised airspace restrictions at the Bengaluru Airport are as follows –
- Feb 5, 6 and 8 – 9 AM to noon and 3 PM to 4:30 PM
- Feb 7 – 9 AM to 11 AM and 3 PM to 4:30 PM
- Feb 9 – 9 AM to 11 AM
- Feb 10 – 9 AM to 11:30 AM and 2.30 PM to 3:30 PM
- Feb 11 and 12 – Noon to 2:30 PM
- Feb 13 and 14 – 9:30 AM to noon and 2:30 PM to 5 PM

Aero India is one of the premier global aerospace and defence exhibitions in the world. This will be the 15th edition of this bilinear air show and aviation exhibition and will be held at Yelahanka Air Force Station, Bengaluru. Visitors will see state-of-the-art aircraft and technologies by participants from across the world here. Organised by the Defence Exhibition Organisation and Ministry of Defence India, this exhibition will be held from February 10-14.
Expecting a large turnout, the Bengaluru Police has also planned traffic diversions to ease congestion. They have recommended visitors park their vehicles at designated free parking spaces at GKVK Campus and Jakkur Airfield. For visitor convenience, BMTC will operate complimentary shuttle bus services between these parking locations and the event venue.
