In collaboration with Etihad Airways, Akasa Air has begun operating daily direct flights between Bengaluru/Ahmedabad and Abu Dhabi. On March 1, 2025, the flights left Bengaluru, and on March 2, 2025, they will leave Ahmedabad. With this extension, Akasa Air will now offer 21 weekly flights from three Indian cities in addition to its current daily service between Mumbai and Abu Dhabi.

Leaving Kempegowda International Airport at 10:00 hours IST yesterday, the first flight from Bengaluru arrived at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi at 12:35 hours AST. On March 2, 2025, at 22:45 hours IST, the first aircraft from Ahmedabad will take off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport and arrive at Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi at 0100 hours AST.
The daily service that Akasa Air offers between Mumbai and Abu Dhabi, which was launched in July 2024, is complemented by the new routes. Akasa Air currently offers 21 weekly flights between Abu Dhabi and three important Indian cities as a result of this development. The airline’s first international route from Bengaluru is also marked by this.
During a ceremony at Kempegowda International Airport to launch the inaugural flight, members of Akasa Air’s Executive Committee saw the lighting of a ceremonial lamp. The first passenger on the first aircraft was given a unique boarding permit to mark the occasion.
