Akshay Kumar visited the banks of Varanasi ahead of the release of his movie Samrat Prithviraj. The actor took a puja in the holy river and performed aarti with his co-star Manushi Chhillar and director Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi. Manushi Chillar also took to her Instagram handle to share some pictures from the Varanasi Ghat. Captioning the pictures, the Miss World 2017 winner wrote, “Har Har Mahadev.”

Akshay Kumar And Manushi Chhillar Visit The Ghats Of Varanasi
Samrat Prithviraj, starring Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar in lead roles, is an autobiographical movie on Prithviraj Chauhan. A large part of the filming of the movie had taken place in Rajasthan. In the movie, Manushi plays the role of Sanyogita, one of the three wives of Prithviraj Chauhan. Like Manushi, Akshay too shared a picture of offering puja at the ghat.

Samrat Prithviraj is a Yash Raj Films movie and it is set to hit the theatres on June 3, 2022. The movie also stars Ali Fazal, Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Manav Vj and Sakshi Tanwar.
