He was with his co-star of his newly released action-packed film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, Tiger Shroff and we were at his kitchen van with our Editor-In-Chief Kamiya Jani. Both of these talented actors star together for the first time in a film which hit the theatres on Eid 2024. Did you watch it on the big screen yet? Did Akshay Kumar Buy Curly Tales?
Everyone knows about Akshay Kumar and Rajpal Yadav’s iconic comedy scene ‘21 din mein paisa double’ from Phir Hera Pheri. At this point, it is a meme which guarantees to plaster a 2-second smile on your face. We wanted to know tips on how to double money from the great Raju, Kumar’s character in this film. He was eager to help us out.
Before diving into his great scheme, Akshay asked Kamiya how much money did she make from “ghunghrale kahaniyo”, which translates to our company’s name in Hindi. She laughed and declared a rough estimate of ₹1 lakh. Upon hearing this amount, he suggested that he purchase Curly Tales.
This surprised Kamiya and said that Curly Tales had its first buyer ever! Then he went on to make a deal to buy all of the camera equipment for ₹1 lakh. This made Kamiya question his offer and she said, “Nahi, nahi, yeh achi deal nahi hai. Yeh thoda galat ho gaya,” as everyone started to laugh.
The Food Spread Was Super Healthy At His Kitchen Van
Usually, when we film Sunday Brunches, we take our guests to great restaurants in whichever city we are in. But this time, Akshay Kumar, who is known for his fitness, was in charge of the food. Slowly, he unpacked his big basket of yummy homecooked food items.
He shared that the food he consumes is sans any spices except for salt. He distributed delectable and flavourful beetroot tikkis, avocado and mango salad, paneer curry, palak kofte and nachni roti. Everyone gorged on yummy and healthy food while we couldn’t stop drooling over here!
