1. Emirates Resumes Services To Jordan

Emirates recently announced that it will be resuming its services to Amman. Yes, from October 6 onwards, the flag carrier resumed its services. In fact, the UAE-based airlines cancelled and rerouted several flights, as the airspace was shut in several parts of the Middle East.

2. Al Bahah Pomegranate Festival Draws Crowds

The 13th National Pomegranate Festival attracted massive crowds of people who wished to experience the region’s renowned pomegranates and diverse activities. Hosted by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in Al-Baha, there were even three workshops and the quality and quantity of pomegranates left people astounded.

3. Saudia Begins Services Between Jeddah & Chennai

The Airports Authority of India took to its official account on X to announce that Chennai Airport is now Connected to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. Yes, the route is being serviced by Saudia and the carrier will be flying on this route twice weekly.

4. E-Scooters Allowed Back At The Dubai Metro

Commuters can once again bring their e-scooters to the Dubai Metro. However, they must follow the safety guidelines put in place by the authorities. Yes, a set of guidelines has been implemented for commuters who wish to bring their e-scooters into the Dubai Metro. Travellers must ensure that they fold their e-scooter place it in the designated areas, and never ride it inside the stations.

5. AccessAbilities Expo Returns On October 7

It was recently announced that the sixth edition of the AccessAbilities Expo is returning this October. It is an international exhibition for people with disabilities! Yes, it will be taking place from October 7 to 9, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. It’s worth mentioning that this three-day event will feature over 300 international brands and companies under a single roof.
