1. Ruler Of Sharjah Directs Maintenance Work At A School In Khorfakkan

The Ruler of Sharjah, His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, who is also the Supreme Council member has instructed immediate maintenance work for Khalil bin Ahmed Al Farahidi School. Located in Khorfakkan, this directive aims to ensure that the school is fully prepared to welcome the students. Not to mention, the relevant officials have already committed to begin the maintenance work immediately with the completion said to be in the next two months.

2. Al Freej Fridge Campaign Is Happening In Dubai

With Dubai summer taking a turn towards hotter days, free ice creams and juices are being offered to workers and delivery riders. The Al Freej Fridge campaign aims to distribute juices, ice cream, and cold water to mitigate the effect of summer heat. In fact, this campaign will continue till August 23, which will benefit one million construction workers, delivery riders, agricultural workers, and cleaners on the streets.

3. Dubai Mall Paid Parking Leave Visitors Pleasantly Surprised

As the Dubai Mall paid parking begins, shoppers were in for a pleasant surprise. They were happy to find that several sports in the parking area were empty and that they could find a spot to park their cars quickly. With the implementation of the paid parking system, shoppers who spent at least 15 to 20 minutes looking for a parking spot found one quite quickly. However, it’s worth mentioning that the paid parking is valid only for the Fashion, Grand, and Cinema parking. The Zabeel and Fountain View parking remain free to the public.

4. Dubai Immigration Launches ‘Your Satisfaction Is Paradise’

Recently, Dubai Immigration launched the ‘Your Satisfaction Is Paradise’ initiative. This initiative honours the elderly and enhances intergenerational communication. In fact, there was a participation of the airport affairs sector and strategic partners at Dubai Airport. The aim is to elevate community awareness about the importance of the elderly in our lives.

5. Dubai RTA Partners With Samsung Gulf Electronics

Dubai RTA revealed that it has partnered with Samsung Gulf Electronics in integrating driving license and vehicle registration into the Samsung Wallet. With this initiative, Dubai’s vision of becoming a premier smart city is even closer. It will not only make it more convenient but even more efficient for drivers. So now, Samsung users in the emirate can easily add their vehicle registration and driving license info into the RTA App.
