The Royal Yacht Club of Ras Al Khaimah, Al Hamra’s marina, recently underwent an independent audit and was rewarded with five gold anchors by TYHA. As of right now, the club is the only marina in the Northern Emirates to receive the honour.
Al Hamra’s Royal Yacht Club Of Ras Al Khaimah Honoured
The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA) has awarded Al Hamra’s Royal Yacht Club of Ras Al Khaimah with five gold anchors.
The Royal Yacht Club of Ras Al Khaimah is a haven for sailors with more than 200 wet and dry berths, direct access to the open sea, secure and covered berthing, and a private mooring lagoon.
The full-service marina provides berth holders with first-rate amenities and services, including a gas station, slipway, dry storage yard, showers, changing rooms, parking right next to the marina, electricity and water at each berth, boat registration, and cleaning services.
Super yacht owners can take advantage of a daily anchorage option that provides them with a safe place to anchor at sea while still getting all the advantages and access to the marina.
Once docked in the marina, guests can explore and take advantage of a variety of high-end hospitality establishments, including Muse Social House, Clubhouse, and Al Hamra Golf Club.

Multi-Award-Winning Village
Additionally, there is a membership program by Royal Yacht Club designed especially for berth holders that provides a variety of special advantages. This includes discounts at restaurants and bars, free access to beach activities at Clubhouse, daily use of SUPs and kayaks, discounts on water sports, and more. It also allows access to a number of other services and facilities in and around Ras Al Khaimah.
The Gold Anchor rating is given following an unbiased evaluation of the marina’s amenities, operations, and customer service. It functions very similarly to the star rating system for hotels and other types of lodging.
Al Hamra, which includes organisations like the multi-award-winning Al Hamra Village, Al Hamra Golf Club, Royal Yacht Club of Ras Al Khaimah, and Manar Mall, is only 45 minutes from Dubai International Airport and the free-trade zone.
