Al Sila Marina Festival is a five-day festival and this is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He is a Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra region and the fourth edition of Al Sila Marina Festival will be happening from December 4 to 8. Organised by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority along with the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, it will feature 57 marine, sporting, and beach competitions.

As it happens, the prize money for this five-day festival exceeds AED4 million. In fact, competitions also include the wildly famous Al Sila 43-feet dhow race. Not to mention, the Barakah Traditional Sailboat Race, the falconry championship, cycling races, running events, Al Sila Sheri Fishing contest, beach volleyball, and beach football are just some of the other competitions that you wouldn’t want to miss.

In fact, heritage competitions and traditional games will also be happening at the five-day festival, besides other community and entertaining events that will be perfect for people of all ages. There will also be a traditional market where you will find a multitude of stalls that will be run by local producing families and emerging projects. These stalls will be offering heritage products and traditional dishes that will leave you satiated. Moreover, there will be stands that will represent event sponsors, folk art performances in the events area, and other fantastic activities.
