And finally, starting Tuesday, shoppers can head to malls to go on a spree! While a few malls in the city reopened on 24 April, Dubai Mall will open doors from Tuesday, April 28. This is the last mall in the city to reopen for business after the lockdown. All malls in the city will be open from 12pm-10pm every day. However, cinema halls and kids play areas will remain shut as a precautionary measure.

Capacity of people in malls in reduced to 30%. In addition, people aged three to 12, or 60 and above are strictly not permitted inside the mall. Shoppers must wear face masks at all times, and everyone will have their temperature checked at the entrance. Further, shoppers must use only electronic payment options instead of cash. Returns and exchanges are only permitted if the product is faulty. Those who fail to wear a mask will have to pay a fine of AED 1000.
The Mall Of Emirates opened doors on 24 April. However, cinemas, play areas and other entertainment arenas like Ski Dubai will remain shut. Visitors are allowed to shop in malls only for three hours and valet parking will be temporarily closed for all.
