Alliance Air Launches Direct Ahmedabad-Keshod Flights For Somnath Temple Pilgrims; Free AC Bus Service From Airport Also Available

Good news for the pilgrims of Somnath Temple in Ahmedabad! Your journey is now quicker and easier thanks to a new direct flight between Ahmedabad and Keshod. The flight service is provided by Alliance Air and it will take off thrice in a week. In addition to this, pilgrims will also get a free bus service! Here are all of the other important details that you would need to know about this flight and its schedule.

Alliance Air Launches Direct Ahmedabad-Keshod Flights

According to an article which was recently published by CNBCTV18, the flight service is launched specifically for the pilgrims heading to the Somnath Temple near Keshod in Gujarat. The temple is located in Prabhas Patan which is around 55 kilometres from the Keshod Airport.

The flight service was announced on October 29, 2024. It was announced by the Gujarat Pavitra Yatradham Vikas Board which is a state government entity. The flight services are scheduled three times a week and will begin on November 21, 2024.

The flight will depart from the Ahmedabad airport at 10:10 AM and land at the Keshod airport at 10:55 AM. Then, the same flight will leave Keshod Airport at 1:15 PM and land in Ahmedabad at 2:30 PM.

Free AC Bus Service From The Airport Also Available

In addition to this flight service, The Shree Somnath Temple Trust has also started a bus service from the Keshod airport to the temple. The bus is air-conditioned and will be completely free of cost to the pilgrims. It is hoped that their journey will be made easier owing to these services.

The Somnath Temple is one of the holiest shrines of Hinduism and a large number of people throng to it for spiritual and religious rejuvenation. Keshod Airport is located in the Junagadh district of Gujarat.
