Being a woman is indeed scary. Not even the safest places can guarantee complete safety for the gender. Recently, a woman took to social media and shared a bone-chilling incident that happened to her when she landed at the Kempegowda International Airport or KIA in Bengaluru. She was picked up by a person who opposed an Ola driver. Luckily, she narrowly escaped by being alert and noticing things that were off from the get-go.

Woman Picked Up By Fake Cabbie At Bengaluru Airport

According to an article which was recently published by The Free Press Journal or FPJ, this incident took place on Saturday, November 9, 2024. The woman got out of the Bengaluru Airport at around 10:30 PM. She went to the airport’s designated Ola zone to get a ride home.

Even though she booked a mini, a sedan arrived and the driver told her that it was okay and that he would drop her. Upon entering the cab, she repeatedly told him the mandatory OTP but the driver did not seem to care about it. He instead opened his Google Maps and asked her to enter her destination.

The woman found it that odd as well, given that drivers get access to the destination once they get the OTP. After a while, he started asking for more money than what the app showed. When she declined, the driver said that someone else he knows will take her to her destination.
