Ambani Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations

Anant Ambani and wife Radhika Merchant welcomed the idol of Lord Ganesh, famously named ‘Antilia cha Raja’, home in celebration of the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The event took place at Antilia, the iconic Mumbai residence of the Ambani family. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Mukesh Ambani and his family celebrate the day with great enthusiasm and religiosity every year as part of age-old custom.

Ambani Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations

On Friday evening, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, prepared to welcome the idol of Lord Ganesha at Antilia. Along with his daughter Isha Ambani, who was holding one of her twins, the entire family was excited as ‘Antilia cha Raja’ would arrive soon. “Ganpati Bappa Morya” echoed in the air as the idol reached the residence in a pomp and show procession.

Anant Ambani, the youngest scion of Mukesh and Nita Ambani, along with his wife, Radhika Merchant, welcomed the ‘Ganpati Bappa’ with much enthusiasm. Clad in traditional outfits, the newlywed couple welcomed the idol together into their home amidst kirtans and rituals. This was Radhika Merchant’s first Ganesh Chaturthi as a married woman, and so this needed extra celebration.

Nita Ambani gave her Ganesh Chaturthi wishes to the media earlier this week at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai. In attendance was the whole family, including Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Ambani’s family celebrations are marked by grace, piety, and the presence of several prominent personalities.
