Since the past few days, bad weather and heavy rains have plagued many parts of Himachal Pradesh as well as Uttarakhand. Many areas have reported flooding and landslides. Since these two states attract a high number of tourists, many of them have been stranded and are struggling to find places to stay. In such dire circumstances, many hotels in Manali have stepped up and are providing free stays to stranded tourists. Here’s a list of these hotels.
These Hotels In Manali Provide Free Stay To Stranded Tourists
Given the terrible weather conditions, many tourists have been stuck. Since bad weather has significantly damaged many major roads, tourists are unable to leave and are stuck in their hotel rooms. Even the Chandigarh-Manali National Highway was closed recently owing to damage caused by landslides.
Many tourists have no choice but to continue staying in hotel rooms. Not everyone will be able to afford it and hence, certain hotels are offering free stays to tourists who might have been stranded due to the bad weather and are looking for safe havens.

Weather Conditions In The Two States
According to an article recently published by the Free Press Journal, many parts of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh are witnessing extremely poor weather conditions and hence, authorities have advised travellers to postpone their travel plans until the situation improves.
Tourists who are trapped in the two states have also been asked to not leave their hotel rooms. Furthermore, many roadways have been damaged or washed away in floods or landslides. Parts of the road which connects Manali to Kullu have fallen into the river Beas. The Manali-Leh Highway is also closed and the Spiti Valley stretch has also been adversely affected.
