Ammy Virk Once Ate 17-18 Samosa In A Day!

We have a special place in our hearts for people who are massive foodies! We love to interview and bond with them. Ammy was the perfect guest for this wonderful episode and conversations surrounding food commenced, of course!

The actor spent a significant amount of his life in Nabha, a town in Punjab. We wanted to learn some yummy food suggestions around Nabha from our Punjabi Munda. Ammy started to drool and recollect the flavoursome street food from this town. The one speciality he raved about was paneer samosas! They were so good that to this day, he remembers those flaky, warm and tasty samosas.

“Paneer samosa is the best. Voh maine khaye hai 17-18 samose jab main 9th class mein tha,” he reminisced this specific anecdote, leaving Kamiya speechless! He elaborated that it was a memorable day as he received a new cycle. He accompanied his father to a cycle shop that was near a samosa shop. While purchasing the cycle, he relished 7 to 8 samosas and back home, 8 to 9 more samosas were gobbled!

Lastly, Ammy Virk added that the samosas was quite basic but the chutney served with this snack took this dish to another level. This condiment was also a speciality of Nabha.

He moved on to the mouthwatering kulchas at Mukesh Kulcha. It was a rather unique kulcha as Ammy explained that it included double kulcha. More like a double-bread which is kind of similar to a pao, popular in Mumbai. Our guest told us that the kulcha had a scrumptious and buttery filling of potato, chole and paneer. He loved to relish this and was another memorable dish from Nabha.
