Vijayawada Worst Affected Region, Hyderabad Flooded Too
If reports are to go by, the worst affected region is Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. Ajit Singh Nagar is the worst affected in Vijayawada and the Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu, has already visited the region twice.
The reason for this is that a rivulet called Budameru has overflowed owing to the heavy rains. The rivulet is located on the outskirts of Vijayawada and has flooded nearby towns.
Heavy rains are predicted for regions like Alluri Sitarama Raju, Kakinada, Nandyala, Parvatipuram Manyam, Srikakulam and Vijayanagaram on Monday, September 2, 2024.
