Anupam Kher Talked About The Ladder Of Success
After taking a detailed tour of the acting institution, Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares, it was time to chat with our guest. His room in the academy is filled with adorable pictures, books, framed postcards, and some other accolades. Coming from a non-Bollywood background, he had to build his empire from the ground up.
Talking about success and the fad of going viral on the Internet, Anupam ji believes there is a subtle tragedy in being Internet-famous. It is a wonderful opportunity to display one’s skills but the virality doesn’t last for a long time.
The public quickly moves on to other viral celebrities, the actor doesn’t think fame can be attained in a short amount of time. Anupam Kher said, “After one year, you were once a viral person.” He doesn’t want people to prioritise instant virality in a world where Internet fame and notoriety last for a specific amount of time.
The ‘Vijay 69’ star added that it is better to climb the ladder of success one step at a time. Take your sweet time while doing so.

He Lives In A Rented House!
Anupam Kher continues to live in a rented house in Mumbai even after being successful. He said, “I decided I don’t want to have a house.” Elaborating on the same, he would prefer to pay monthly rent than invest in a house in the City of Dreams. With housing prices skyrocketing, the actor feels it is better to invest in fixed deposits.
