What Is Pizza Pacaya?
While you’ve heard of Chicago Deep Dish Pizza and Italian pizzas, this unique volcano pizza is called “Pizza Pacaya”. This is because pizzas are cooked on the Pacaya volcano, nestled 8000 feet above sea level, overlooking scenic villages. It’s a less dangerous volcano despite being an active one. It’s the first pizza place in the world to use an active volcano or lava as oven.
