Aparshakti Khurana Tries Aloo Tikki At This Iconic Place In Delhi; Calls It “Love At First Sight!”

During his recent visit to Delhi, Aparshakti Khurana tried and fell in love with aloo tikki served at the iconic Prabhu Chaat Bhandar. The actor took to Instagram to share a video where he can be seen making the tikki as well. He appreciated the flavours of the chaat and said he fell in love with it.

If you come to Delhi and don’t savour the flavours of chaat in the city, then safe to say that your trip is wasted! The city is famous for its food but the chaat here is an emotion that you just cannot miss. And looks like actor Aparshakti Khurana knew about this because he made sure to try the aloo tikki chaat from one of the most famous chaat places in the city–Prabhu Chaat Bhandar AKA UPSC Chaat Wala.

Aparshakti Khurana Tries Delhi’s Iconic UPSC Chaat

Aparshakti Khurana took to Instagram to share about his visit to the iconic Prabhu Chaat Bhandar. In the video, he spoke about how he has always admired the work of legendary actor Dilip Kumar. As he grew older, he understood that every city had its own Dilip Kumar, someone who is a legend of their own craft and not necessarily acting.

During his recent trip to Delhi, he met “Dillllli Waaaale Dilip Kumar Saab”, the person behind the iconic Prabhu Chaat Bhandar near UPSC office. He shared how just like the legendary actor, this chaat shop puts all the right flavours to make sure you have the best aloo tikki of your life.

In the video, Aparshakti Khurana can also be seen trying his hand at cooking the tikki at Prabhu Chaat Bhandar. He was taken by the perfect balance of spices and chutney in the tikki. “Yeah garma garam tikki first sight wala pyaar kara gayi,” says a clearly impressed Aparshakti.

Prabhu Chaat Bhandar is an iconic eatery that opened in Delhi in 1935 and for the last 90 years, it has been the go-to place for chaat lovers in the city. People in Delhi also know it as UPSC Chaat Bhandar or UPSC Chaat Wala, since it is located opposite the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) building.

Aparshakti Khurana isn’t the first celebrity who fell in love with the chaat at UPSC Chaat Bhandar. From iconic actors like Manoj Kumar and Rajesh Khanna to politicians like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, no one could resist the aloo tikki of this place.
