Saudi Arabia e-Visa is a document that lets travellers visit Saudi Arabia for tourism, business, or even family visits and allows them to perform Umrah. This is a multiple-entry visa and it’s generally recommended to apply for the same at least seven days before the date of travel. 1. What Are The Countries Eligible For e-Visa

International visitors from over 50 eligible countries can apply for an e-Visa to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These include countries in Europe, Africa, North America, and Asia. Some of these countries include the USA, Canada, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Brunei, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Malaysia, to name some.

2. How To Apply For This Visa?

If you’re looking to apply for an eVisa for Saudi Arabia, then you can do so on their Saudi Arabia Immigration Services website. It takes just 15 minutes to fill out the form and the process of application is also quite simple. First, you must fill in the application form with basic information (like your full name, date of birth, nationality, and so on) and select the type of e-Visa and the processing time you’re looking for. Second, you can make the payment for your application. After this, you will receive your valid Saudi e-Visa via email upon approval. Finally, you’d want to print your eVisa and keep it close at all times during your trip to the Kingdom.

3. What About The Fee & Validity?

It should be noted that there are two costs for Saudi e-Visa. The first is a service fee and a government fee, which is paid to the Saudi Arabia government for them to process your visa applications. The other one is the service fee for your visa application. The latter will be calculated on the basis of the service and processing time options you select – normal, urgent, and super urgent. At this point. It’s worth mentioning that once issued, the Saudi Tourist e-Visa is valid for a year with multiple entries from the date of issue and the visitor is allowed to stay for a maximum of 90 days.

4. Documents Required For Saudi Arabia Tourist e-Visa

There aren’t many documents required for the Saudi Arabian e-Visa. You basically need to submit a copy of your valid passport (from any of the eligible countries) and a recent passport-size photo. However, you should have a valid email address and a credit or debit card. Not to mention, the passport copy you submit, must be the same one that you’d be carrying during your trip.

5. Common Mistakes While Applying For This Visa

There are some common mistakes during the application submission process which might lead to rejection. These could be filling in incorrect or incomplete information, photos that may not meet the requirements, you might not meet certain requirements (like insufficient funds), or even hailing from an ineligible country. So, make sure to check everything from your name to having sufficient funds, in order to avoid rejections.

6. What About The Visa Processing Time?

Once you’ve filled up all the forms and have submitted your application, then it generally takes anywhere between 24 and 72 hours to process the same. On the Saudi Immigration website, it was also mentioned that those who’re in a hurry can apply for Rush Visa Service. Not only this, but the approval will be sent to your email address once it has been reviewed by the Ministry of Interior of the State of Saudi Arabia, and the validity is one year from its date of issue.
