The celebration kicked off with a traditional plaque and key ceremony, graced by the likes of AROYA’s Captain Jan Gelinder, Cruise Saudi’s CEO, AROYA Cruises’ President and the Chief Destination Experiences Officer in attendance. These key players toasted to AROYA’s new adventure, promising a cruising experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
After months of dry-docking and cutting-edge design, AROYA is more Arabian luxury than an ocean liner.
Imagine this: 95% of the ship’s spaces have undergone a complete redesign to embrace Arabian culture and preferences. From a souq-inspired shopping district, the largest retail area ever created on a cruise ship to plush luxury spa facilities and a tranquil wellness centre, AROYA is raising the bar for what it means to “sea” the world.
What’s New?
With 29 restaurants, lounges, and cafes, you can indulge in a different culinary delight every night, without ever stepping off the ship. And don’t even get me started on the entertainment options, 20 venues featuring live music, shows, and dance floors. Plus, there’s one of the largest children’s play areas at sea, because no family cruise is complete without a little fun for the little ones.
Jeddah Islamic Port is all geared up to welcome AROYA and her passengers with open arms. The port’s historic charm and strategic location have been bolstered with new facilities, including upgraded cruise terminal amenities to accommodate even the biggest ships. New bollards and fenders have been installed to ensure a smooth sail for AROYA and other cruise vessels, making Jeddah a prime destination for both international and local guests.
