For this, the moon sighting committee had to meet and now, as the moon has been sighted, the date for the festival has also been decided. Here’s all you need to know.

Crescent Moon For Dhul Hijjah Sighted!

On Sunday, June 18, the crescent moon that marks the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah, was sighted. It’s worth mentioning that during this month, the annual Hajj pilgrimage takes place. So, with the sighting, it was decided that the pilgrimage will start on June 26, which happens to be Monday. For those who aren’t aware, this is an important religious duty that all healthy and able Muslims must perform at least once in their life Moreover, in a news report by the Arab News, it was also mentioned that June 27 will be the day of Arafat. As it happens, the report also mentioned that Eid al-Adha will be on Wednesday, June 28.
