They say, “Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper”. We say, eat every meal like a king. Why be impartial, right? Every day when lunchtime rolls in and the hunger pangs kick in, it also leaves us mightily confused. With so many choices to go around, one is bound to be spoilt for choice. But how exactly do you beat all that confusion in your mind?
When it comes to me, my go-to meal when I am craving comfort food is good ol’ Asian fare. There’s no way that I can say no to noodles or pass them up for something else. And nothing can compare to the solace of slurping on them. So, when we heard about Chef Hemant Oberoi launching his all-new Black Bowl Menu at Hemant Oberoi which caters to confused souls like me, we were more than intrigued. A mix of drool-worthy Oriental cuisines that brings together pan-Asian cuisine, the meals are a mixture of deliciousness and fuss-free eating. When it comes to Asian cuisine, we don’t discriminate and neither does Hemant Oberoi. The black bowls come with a variety of options. Right from the Korean Style Noodles that are made using gochujang and fresh Pak Choi to a Thai-inspired fish which is served with dry beans and almonds, we couldn’t help but take a bite out of each bowl.
But our favourite has got to the Japanese Udon Noodles which have a generous portion of silky noodles and loads of tofu and mushrooms. Even a hardcore non-vegetarian like me couldn’t help but lick the bowl clean. But if noodles don’t do it for you and you’d be better off with some fragrant rice, then you need to turn your attention to the Chicken Lomo Saltado. It comes with baby bok-choy and is faultless when it comes to taste.
So, if you are looking to expand your lunch options then Hemant Oberoi has got you covered.
