At ₹3000/N Havelock Island’s Eco-Friendly Stay, Outback Havelock Has 400,000 Recycled Installations

Outback Havelock

While everyone is talking about Lakshwadeep, we cannot forget about our archipelago on the Bay of Bengal side, Andaman and Nicobar Islands! We have found a perfect place where sustainable living is promoted by saying no to any use of plastics. Cause they have used it as installations all over the property. They have cute little drawings on wooden boards as well. Among the tropics of Andaman, Outback Havelock is an eco-friendly gem.

Outback Havelock Has 400,000 Recycled Installations, Say What!

Outback Havelock is a rural modernised way of living in the tropics of Andaman and Nicobar Islands’s Havelock Islands. Rural modernised in the sense that the exteriors of the property are pretty much hut-like, with hay on roofs. The interiors are contemporary with simple rooms made with bricks and cement. They also have a cafe with a nice seating area with hay rooftops. It is called Cafe Salt Water where you can do your casual ‘work from home without being at home’ or just chill out with family or friends with a couple of coolers and yummy food.

Outback Havelock has all the views of the luscious tall tropical trees swaying in the winds all day long with crystal clear waters and the sand just right outside the resort in Havelock Islands. What sets it apart from the other properties is that it is an eco-friendly stay! The look for huts is a subtle indication of that. The moment you enter this property in Havelock Islands, you will see there are many things recycled or reused.

On the walls, the bottom sections of the plastic bottles are used as installations. The count is 400,000! You will find these throughout the property, in the reception area, inside and outside the rooms as well. If you are a book lover and forgot to pack a book for your trip then you will be delighted to know they have plenty of books at their reception!
