Atlys Founder and CEO Mohak Nahta has announced the launch of Skylane, a business-to-government (B2G) solution designed to transform visa processing systems. Keeping in mind the inefficiencies in traditional visa workflows, Skylane hopes to replace manual, time-consuming processes with seamless, data-driven systems. Scroll on to know more about this.
Skylane To Digitise Government Visa Approval Process
Mohak Nahta, Founder and CEO of Atlys, unveiled a new venture called Skylane. This is a business-to-government solution that will help digitalise and expedite government visa processing. According to the press release, while Atlys will continue to help individuals with visa applications, Skylane targets backend challenges faced by governments, enabling faster, more secure decision-making and real-time approvals.
Understanding that millions of travel plans are disrupted annually due to outdated visa systems, Skylane’s approach digitises workflows, allowing governments to process applications electronically. This will eliminate physical documentation, and help them make data-driven decisions within seconds. This will also reduce operational costs, enhance scalability, and ensure a smoother experience for both travellers and government agencies.
Skylane’s AI-powered platform will convert traditional visa applications into instant digital decisions through intelligent risk profiling. With this innovative technology, the company aims to process over 10 crore visas in the next five years, making global mobility seamless for travellers everywhere.

All You Need To Know About This New Venture
So, how does Skylane work? Skylane is powered by artificial intelligence and this allows it to generate a structured risk profile, something similar to a credit score for a bank. So, when a visa application is submitted, with the help of AI, this profile consolidates verified identities, authenticated documents, and potential flags, providing consular officers with a clear, data-driven assessment. By processing applications electronically, Skylane eliminates the need for physical documentation.
Furthermore, SkyPods–24/7 digital visa submission centres–will allow travellers to complete biometric submissions and passport verification in less than five minutes. All this combined will make the process faster and more accessible. Some countries, although no specific details have been shared, are already piloting Skylane. This demonstrates its potential to meet growing global travel demands without compromising accuracy or security.
