1. World’s Most Expensive Ramayana Reaches Ayodhya

A Tamil Nadu-based publisher, Vedic Cosmos unveiled the world’s most expensive Ramayana priced at ₹1.65 lakhs weighing 45 kg. The three-floor box has over 200 illustrations embedded with Swarovski crystals with painting styles inspired by Ajanta, Vijayanagar, Bengal and Mysuru regions. There are only 3000 printed copies of this Ramayana available in the world which has all the 24,000 original mūla-ślokas of Valmiki Ramayana. Manoj Sati, the bookseller reached Ayodhya ad gifted the Ramayana to the temple.

2. 400 Kg Lock Made By Aligarh Artisan Gifted To The Temple

The world’s largest lock weight a whopping 400 kg reaching the Ram Mandir ahead of its inauguration on January 22. A resident of Aligarh, Mahamandaleshwar Annapurna Bharti Puri, brought the lock by lifting it using a crane. Satya Prakash Sharma who created this lock with his wife, passed away before completing it. To honour his dying wish to see the lock being gifted to the temple, Mahamandaleshwar Annapurna worked day and night to complete the lock. The 400 kg lock has now reached Ram Mandir and has left devotees awestruck.

3. Temple Decked Up With Flowers & Lights Ahead Of Ceremony

As lakhs of devotees flocked to Ayodhya for Ram Mandir’s Pran Prathishta ceremony on January 22, the temple and the city are adorned with flowers and lights. Some of the devotees even dressed up as the deities, Lord Rama, Sita and Hanuman. A picture of the divine idol of Ram Lalla has gone viral on social media leaving devotes happy and excited to catch a glimpse of the deity.

4. Ayodhya Ram Temple Receives 1,265 Kg Laddoo Prasad From Hyderabad

Sri Ram Catering Services in Hyderabad owned by Nagabhushanam Reddy sent 1,265 kg laddoo prasad to Ayodhya. The owner stated to news agencies that he pledged to prepare 1 kg laddoo for Lord Rama every day. The laddoos which can last for a month were prepared by 25 men over the last 3 days. He has also brought a food certificate to ensure its quality.

5. Water From Kabul River Sent For Abhishek Of Lord Rama

Vishwa Hindu Parishad President Alok Kumar stated that water from the Kubha river in Kabul, Afghanistan has been sent for the abhishek of Lord Rama. The other gifts include silk bedsheets depicting the Ram Mandir from Tamil Nadu, and organic saffron from Kashmir among others.
