In the midst of all the chaos, a Hindu temple in Ayodhya managed to restore harmony by hosting Iftaar for all the fasting Muslims in the area.
Ayodhya’s Sri Sita Ram temple is known for setting an example of communal harmony by organising an Iftaar party every year. Yugal Kishor, the priest at the temple said that this was the third time when they hosted an Iftaar party, and they look forward to celebrating all the festivals with equal enthusiasm.
Keeping similar sentiments, an attendee Mujammil Fiza said that he also celebrates Navratri every year. He believed that oeople with an agenda do not want communities to come together and hold an event like this, people like Kishor send out a message of love
People all across the country took it up on Twitter to applaud the gesture
