After Ram Mandir, Ayodhya To Have A Beach Of Its Own!
After the massive opening of the Ram Mandir, spiritual tourism has been a major boom in Ayodhya. People from all walks of life are now travelling to this ancient city in Uttar Pradesh to visit the temples, sit by the Saryu River, and soak in the serenity that it has to offer. Now, adding to some good news, the authorities plan to develop a beach along one of the banks of the Saryu River to elevate the experience of the visitors and add to the beauty of Ayodhya.
As per reports, the Uttar Pradesh Housing Department has approved the proposal to construct a beach along one of the banks of Saryu. This beach will be developed on the lines of a ‘chowpatty’. Also, it is reported that it will be set up at Ram Ki Paidi in Ayodhya.
What The Authorities Have In Mind For The Chowpatty In Ayodhya
The Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) has already started the preliminary inspection and plans to develop this beach in Ayodhya. They plan to transform the bank into a more lively space for locals and tourists. They have also shared plans to add a variety of street food in this area.
According to sources, ADA will create “multiple temporary structures, zones for housing food carts and covered spots under canopies for pergolas” for people to sit and enjoy the serenity of the town. They will also keep sanitation, fire safety, water supply, horticulture, and parking in mind while developing this beach area for public convenience.
We really hope this plan is put into action soon! This move will add to the beauty around Saryu River, and also boost tourism in Ayodhya and Uttar Pradesh.
