Ayushmann

Shaping momos in their original form is an art only some can perfect! Yet, Ayushmann Khurrana does it easily in this episode of Sunday Brunch with Curly Tales with our host Kamiya Jani. The duo try their hands at wrapping momos, and guess who does it without much hassle? Take a look and tell.

Ayushmann Takes Up The Momo-Making Challenge

Before the duo enjoyed a scrumptious thali of different Tibetan cuisines, Kamiya threw a momo-making challenge at Ayushmann Khurrana, which he accepted without batting an eyelid. Also, while enjoying the momo-making process, Ayushmann adorably cuts an impromptu joke saying it reminds him of the song ‘Yeh Moh Moh Dhaage’, to which Kamiya reacts with a hearty laugh and asks the others in the room to react too! The song is from one of his films Dum Laga Ke Haisha. It’s one of our favourite moments from the interview!

Ayushmann Shares Of His First Experience Of Eating Momos

While preparing the momos, Ayushmann Khurrana shared when and where he first ate momos. And, no, it was not in the NorthEast! But, during his first job in Delhi, while working for an FM station near the Noida border, Ayushmann said he tried momos at Sector 18 in 2006.

Modak Momos And Samosa Momos By Ayushmann & Kamiya

With the duo finally completing the first round, Ayushmann’s momos looked a little like ‘modak’, but he was alright with it as long as it would taste like momos! They even try their hands on creating the triangle-shaped momos, which Ayushmann finally christens as ‘Samosa’ Momos.

At the end of the momo-making challenge, a lavish thali from Yeti – The Himalayan Kitchen is served. The thali had Thukpa, jhol momo, Yomari, Tibetan Ghuma, and so much.
