If you are a bachelor and live alone, then you know that there are never enough containers at home to store all the groceries! And one of the biggest problems is storing all the spices. While the good ol’ masala box is an essential commodity in every Indian household, how does one store the leftover masala from the package?
Digital creator Shashank Alshi has shared a simple hack for this. In one of his recent videos on Instagram, he shared a masala package-sealing hack. With this easy trick, you won’t have to look for rubber bands to seal the packs or worry about spillages any more.
To secure open masala boxes, all you have to do is cut the side flaps of the packet with a pair of scissors. Then, fold one of the longer sides and tuck it inside the box. Now, bring together the two smaller sides and press them slightly. Finally, tuck the second longer flap inside the masala box and press it to seal the pack. Voila, your masala package is sealed. Now, simply pull the longer flap of the masala box, use the spices, and tuck it back in to secure the pack again.
