From Badshah’s catchy line, ‘Dila doon ghar Chandigarh mein’ to meeting him in the beautiful lanes of Chandigarh, we began this episode of Tere Gully Mein. Our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, explored the rapper and singer’s favourite eateries in the capital of Punjab and talked about music, food and so much more. We also checked out the famous Kanel Scandinavian Bakery before heading over to Badshah’s restaurant, Seville.
Chandigarh’s Kanel Scandinavian Bakery With Badshah
On this amazing food trail, Badshah took us to Chandigarh’s two-year-old eatery, Kanel Scandinavian Bakery. It is owned by his sister, Aprajita Singh, who made a cameo in our episode. The bakery exudes European and cosy vibes which is perfect to indulge in decadent desserts of warm cups of coffee in the upcoming winter months.
Aprajita and the folks at Kanel nicely served us two delicious lattes and a slice of tiramisu, carrot cake and pastry. Everything looked tempting and we couldn’t wait to dig in. Kamiya took a spoonful of the carrot cake with a thick frosting and was at the loss of words for how delicious it was! She claimed, “This is sinful! It’s really good.”
She was completely blown away by how decadent the desserts were and couldn’t help but go in for second bites. Even Badshah responded that he was caught off guard by those wonderful bakery products when he tried for the first time.

Ayushmann and Aparshakti Khurrana Love This Bakery
Badshah shared an incident when brothers, Ayushmann and Aparshakti Khurrana, visited Kanel Scandinavian Bakery. They were oblivious to the fact that Aprajita owned this bakery. On top of that, Aprajita wondered whether her brother suggested her bakery to them.
On calling Badshah and figuring out that the Khurrana brothers came without invitation, she was ecstatic. So, Badshah hit Ayushmann up to notify him about the bakery’s owner. They were blown away by this revelation!
Khurranas genuinely fell in love with the delectable food and beverages at Kanel. This was such a lovely interaction! Kanel Scandinavian Bakery is now Curly Tales, Badshah and Khurrana brothers-approved, so when are you visiting this spot?
