Sadly, this isn’t the first time such an incident has taken place on Vande Bharat trains. According to the authorities, 45 arrests have been made from July to December 2023 for stone pelting on Vande Bharat trains alone. They further mentioned that about 70% of these miscreants are minors who do it merely for fun. However, after strict actions were taken against the miscreants, the railway authorities noticed fewer incidents before this unfortunate occurrence on Sunday.

Causing damage to public property and endangering the lives of people like this is a truly condemnable offence. We hope the miscreants are rightly punished so that such incidents don’t take place again. Let us know your take on the entire incident in the comments!
