We have all faced the issue of getting to the parking area from the terminals and vice versa with so much luggage. Well, it looks like Bengaluru Airport has decided to tackle this issue. For the convenience of travelers and guests, Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (also known as BLR Airport) unveiled a new elevated walkway. Terminal 1 and P4 parking are connected by the new walkway.
Bengaluru Airport Inaugurates New Elevated Walkway
The 420-meter walkway is intended to provide a seamless journey for walkers who are heading either in the direction of Terminal 1 or the direction of P4 parking.
Passengers are guaranteed an easy and comfortable stroll thanks to the walkway’s sleek and contemporary architecture and user-friendly features like travelators (moving walkways), elevators, and escalators.
Senior and PRM (Persons with Reduced Mobility) friendly, the design also places a high priority on accessibility. The walkway features a secure pedestrian pathway and appropriate nighttime illumination to ensure a cozy and secure environment.
Because it is completely covered and climate-protected, this concern for safety extends to all weather situations, guaranteeing that people may move between points without being hampered.
