Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike, India’s fourth largest municipal corporation, took a wonderful step by introducing the BluGreen awards. The climate action cell of BBMP made the announcement about the awards. According to a report by the Deccan Herald, this will address and focus on people working towards climate action objectives in the Karnataka capital.
Many communities, academic establishments, and people work relentlessly to ensure being on the correct path to achieving significant goals for Mother Nature and contribute in a way to preserve and nurture it.
It is 2025, a high time for everyone to be attentive to their lifestyle and do their best to reduce the impacts triggering climate change. Every year, the world experiences warmer summer seasons and global warming and climate change are the primary reasons behind the surge in temperatures worldwide.

Individuals, institutions, communities, and participants fascinated with this concept can apply for the same. BBMP Special Commissioner Preeti Gehlot shared that people can submit their applications and the doors are open till February 15. The applications need to be submitted via Google Forms. Head to the official website of the climate action cell to get access.
Once interested participants submit their information, experts will analyse and look into each application. The chosen best ones will be appreciated at an event in the upcoming days. Everyone is allowed to fill out the forms and make their submissions.
