If you’re a remote worker, then you know how boring it can be to work from home every day! We believe this thought is what prompted X user, Bhavya Arora, to ask for cafes in HSR Layout where one can work without any expectations of ordering!

Bhavya, a Bengaluru-based entrepreneur, took to X (formerly Twitter) to ask people for recommendations of cafes where she can work from. Her only requirements were strong Wi-Fi, no expectations of ordering, and optional, comfortable seating!

After facing a lot of backlash online for her tweet, she tried to explain her point. In a follow-up tweet, she said, “Can’t a girl want to just work from an empty cafe without ordering. I get it that if people are waiting for a table, I should and will vacate the table. But if it is empty- WHAT’S THE PROBLEM!”
