Folks of Bengaluru, brace yourselves to witness a cold December this year. The temperature dropped to 25°C on Monday, about 2°C less than reported on Sunday. The Tuesday temperature is likely to be similar to Monday during the day. The Karnataka capital is about to be chillier in the coming days and here’s all you need to know about the weather forecast.
Bengaluru’s Weather Updates From Monday
Taking to the X (formerly Twitter) platform, Karnataka Weather (@Bnglrweatherman) shared some weather updates of the city from December 18.
It was quite cold yesterday as the city witnessed the mercury drop compared to the previous days. The India Meteorological Department’s Bengaluru station recorded a temperature of 23.6°C on Monday. According to the tweet, the mean daily maximum temperature of December decreased by 3.3°C yesterday because of the Cyclonic Circulation. The residents felt the chills of the winter season and they are likely to feel the intense cold weather soon.
On Monday, many parts of the city experienced a temperature of 25°C, according to a report by Times Now. It was a couple of degrees below Sunday’s temperature. The weather was quite pleasant and not too harsh in the past couple of weeks this winter. But now the weather is about to change and the mercury is set to drop, making the surroundings colder and also foggier than now.
Enjoy a pleasant and soothing weather of 25°C today as well. According to the predictions, the weather will not see much change on Tuesday in comparison to Monday. With a maximum temperature of 25°C and a minimum temperature of 18°C, the sky is likely to be cloudy on December 19, according to the weather forecast by the India Meteorological Department. The temperature is expected to decrease and the city is likely to feel the chills in the next few days.

How Does The Weather Look Like For The Next Few Days?

Bengalueans, get ready to wake up to views of blankets of fog as the mornings are likely to get foggy from Wednesday. With some fog or mist in the air, the temperature is expected to decrease as well. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature will be 26°C and the minimum temperature will be 17°C, as per the weather forecast. With the average minimum and maximum temperature taking a dip in the next few days, the temperature is likely to be about 16°C during the night. This change is expected from December 22 and it might even decrease to 15°C during Christmas.
