Bengaluru’s Yeshwantpur Railway Station is one of the most important railway stations in the region. It caters to traffic coming from Hassan, Tumakuru, Hubli-Dharwad, Bengaluru City, and even Delhi. So, you can imagine how crowded the station can be! As per a post on X (formerly Twitter), it seems like the Railways hasn’t been able to add proper infrastructure to manage these crowds, unfortunately. The post captured the crowd at the station and talked about the ‘pathetic situation’ there. Read on to know more about it.

X User Posts About Pathetic Situation At Yeshwantpur Railway Station

An X (formerly Twitter) user, @pavansheri, posted about the “pathetic situation” at Bengaluru’s Yeshwantpur Railway Station. In his tweet, he added two pictures capturing heavy crowds and the lack of management by the railway there. In the post, he explained how there is no specific gate to enter or exit the station premises and also how crowded it can get. He further pointed out how this entire situation is very inconvenient for “senior citizens and disabled passengers.”

Indian Railways’ complaint portal, RailwaySeva responded to the tweet and asked the passenger for his details. In a series of replies, they assured him that they’d look into this matter at their earliest.

DRM Office Bengaluru also replied to the post and explained that such issues are prevailing due to redevelopment at the station.
