Naren Krishna is a Bengaluru-based entrepreneur who was travelling on a commercial flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru. It was a normal flight until he discovered that he was sitting next to none other than Mr Narayana Murthy. He shared about this chance encounter in a post on LinkedIn. He expressed his “sheer disbelief of sharing an economy seat” with the Infosys chairman.
In a post that has now gone viral, Naren shared that he spoke to Mr Murthy about various topics. He talked in depth about AI, the Indian economy, and even failures while building a company. Naren was especially blown away by the down-to-earth attitude of Mr Narayan Murthy and how approachable he was.
He specified one of his biggest takeaways from the entire interaction was a quote from Louis Pasteur that Mr Murthy mentioned, “Chance favours the prepared mind.” He concluded the post by saying that he will “carry this memory very strongly for a long time.”
