According to a report by the Asianetnews, it was revealed that the Bengaluru Metro’s Green Line is going to see disruptions for three days. From January 26 to January 28, the line between Peenya Industrial Area and Nagasandra will be shut down temporarily. The reason for the shutdown is to undertake maintenance work. It is, however, worth mentioning that normal operations will resume on January 29. So, commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly!

BMRCL Suggests Use Of Smart Cards And QR Code Tickets To Streamline Entry

Not to mention, Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited also revealed that the use of smart cards and QR code tickets will help streamline the entry. However, one can expect crowd density at the Peenya Industrial Area and Goraguntepalya stations during the suspension period. For those who want to work, the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited has also mentioned that passengers should embrace convenient alternatives during the aforementioned days for smoother entry.

So, if you are someone who constantly travels on this line and the destinations fall on your route, you might want to keep this notification in mind in order to avoid any delays. So, keep these dates in mind!
