Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic East Division, Bengaluru shared necessary information about the advisory on the X platform.

The concerned authorities are currently working on a significant project at the Panathur railway bridge underpass. Some routes have been restricted on account of the ongoing work. Regular transportation has been halted on this route. The decision has been implemented due to the railway department’s railway bridge underpass construction work.
All kinds of vehicular traffic are restricted from Panathur Dinne to Panathur Railway Bridge within the limits of Whitefield traffic police station, according to the traffic advisory. Also, these restrictions are in place from July 9 midnight to July 12, 2024.
If you are in this Karnataka city and have plans to travel towards restricted areas, ensure following the traffic advisory and plan your journeys accordingly. Bengaluru traffic police arranged alternative route options to continue commuters’ journeys. Here are the alternative routes.
- Vehicles travelling towards Panathur and Kundalahalli from the Panathur Dinne side must take Balagere Main Road via Silver Oak Road from Gunjur Palya Road to Panathur and Kundalahalli.
- Next, the advisory stated that vehicles travelling towards Panathur Dinne from the Panathur side can drive on Gunjur Palya Road via Silver Oak from Balagere Main Road to travel towards Panattur.
The traffic police have requested commuters to cooperate and follow the above-mentioned restrictions and alternative routes. These will help to avoid probable issues due to the construction process at Panathur Railway Bridge underpass and people can enjoy their rides without inconvenience.
