Bengaluru Woman Alleges Auto Driver Spat On Her, Shares Pics Of Paan-Stained Shirt; Netizens Appalled

In a shocking incident, a woman from Bengaluru alleged that an autorickshaw driver spat on her while she was walking on the road. The woman took to X (formerly Twitter) to share pictures of her white shirt smeared with red paan stains. This incident has shocked Netizens with many slamming the driver for his misbehaviour.

Bengaluru Woman Claims Auto Driver Spat On Her In Indiranagar

A software engineer Parishi posted pictures of her hand and her white shirt covered in red-coloured paan stains. The woman from Bengaluru alleged that while walking around the Indiranagar locality in the city, an auto driver spat on her. And it happened on the day she wore a white shirt and black trousers. Her crisp white shirt had red spit marks and so did her right hand.

Indiranagar is one of the poshest neighbourhoods of Bengaluru and is considered to be a startup hub and a fine-dining paradise of the city. It comes as no less than a shock that this untoward incident took place in this neighbourhood. In no time, her post garnered a lot of traction on social media, generating 550.6K views and 985 comments. One Netizens commented “Unbelievable” while another rightly termed it “Disgusting.”

Netizens Appalled; Want Gutka To Be Banned

Bengaluru City Police dropped a comment on her post and requested her to provide specific details and her contact number on DM. We hope the police will take strict action against the miscreant. @IshwarBagga suggested banning gutka and levying a hefty fine on people consuming it. On a lighter note, the X user suggested residents wear only red-coloured clothes. Ishwar told Parishi to tell her colleagues about her “new designer shirt- The Gutka Collection.”

Many others advised her to file a case against the auto driver who spat on her. @time__square commented that a child peed on his younger brother from the second floor. Another person termed it a “Peak Bengaluru moment.” Others empathised with her on the disgust she may have undergone at that moment.
