Woman Waits 2 Hrs At Bengaluru Airport’s Uber Pickup Point; Video Of Long Queue Goes Viral

Arrive at Bengaluru Airport, and you’ll know the journey hasn’t ended. In fact, it has just begun— the journey to your home. As a fellow Bengalurean, I’d say it’s another 1-1.5 hours, if you’re lucky, and over 2 hours if you’re not! To make matters worse, a woman recently posted a video of her 2-hour-long… wait.. at the Uber pick-up point at Bengaluru Airport. Shocking, to say the least!

Viral Video Shows Long Queue Outside Bengaluru Airport

Taking to her X handle, software engineer Disha Saini (@justjalebi1) revealed that she landed at Bengaluru Airport at night to beat the traffic back home and save time. Unfortunately, she was in for a shock when she arrived at the Uber pickup point located outside the airport. The serpentine queue spilt on the road, and what was supposed to be a breezy cab ride back home ended up being a 2-hour wait just for the cab.

Disha posted a video of a seemingly never-ending queue of people standing with luggage and backpacks at the cab pickup area. The woman claimed to have waited for 2 hours to get a cab. The extremely long line at the designated area shocked Netizens. In no time, this post went viral, garnering over 103k views and over 400 comments.

Netizens Suggest Hacks

Netizens had mixed reactions to this video. While many empathised with the long wait due to an increased number of frequent flyers, others chided her for not opting for the airport bus and alternative transport means. Disha replied that she wanted to try comfortably due to her heavy luggage. So, she opted for the cab instead of the airport bus.

Another person suggested she walk towards the Nandini coffee booth and get KSTDC taxis instead. An X user advised her to always pre-book her taxi. BLR Airport commented, “Hello, we regret to hear about your experience. Kindly share your contact details via DM for our team to connect with you.”

Meanwhile, fellow Bengalureans, have you faced long queues while waiting for your cabs at Bengaluru Airport?
