3. Al Ismaily Cafeteria

Serving customers since 1995, Ismaily cafeteria is a favourite among Emiratis craving parathas and a steaming hot cup of Karak chai. The crowd starts around 10:00 am when Emirati and Asian men and women pass by to grab some hot breakfast, along with a cup of their favourite chai. 4. Karak House

Nestled in the picturesque Boulevard in Downtown Dubai, the Emirati owned gem has garnered much love ever since its inception in 2014. The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating, both decked with enough comfort to sip on your much-loved chai. While the indoor seating boasts a large tree, the outdoors overlook the majestic Burj Khalifa. Need more? The cafe is known for its Karak chai- a homemade recipe by the owner. And the best part is- the chai is served in a jar alongside two glucose biscuits (good old days), both of which are served on a small wooden platter.

Apart from the regular Karak, the house also serves an extraordinary variety including iced Karak, iced caramel Karak and iced chocolate Karak for those who like a little twist in their teas.

5. Filli Cafe

What started off as a humble tea joint in Al Mamzar beach, has now become the name for lip-smacking chai in Dubai. The history of the name FiLLi traces back to his school days, where his friends gave Mr. Rafih the title FiLLi. Little did he know that this name would fetch him name and fame! The cafe serves two varieties of chais- Filli Signature, and Filli Zafran along with a variety of tea snacks ranging from samosas to parathas and sandwiches. Their fresh juices, milkshakes, and energizers are also a huge hit.
